Since November 2018 Mark St.John has been recording a new project using percussive bowls, a singing bowl, vinyl samples, loops and his voice. An extract from one of the recorded tracks from the album was used in 2019 as a soundscape to two of the nagOffsite exhibitions he curated. This piece has now been taken further and will be used in an online sound exhibition where the extended play of the track has been constructed as a soundscape for this cd before the full length album is released on its completion. This album takes one part and slowly builds on the structure and then reduces it back to its minimal start. There are ten parts and the total length of the one index is 51 mins 11 secs. The extract on this page is Part 4. Later in the year various parts of the piece will be used as soundscapes installed in Cavan Cathedral and Chapel Royal Dublin Castle.

The artwork is of a half finished Enso which is a hand painted circle by brush in either ink or paint. In Zen philosophy the Enso represents the act of trying to create a perfect circle by hand which is difficult and therefore represents the journey to completion and not the end.
